My Beer List

This is my compiled list of all the different brews I have sampled listed by brewery. I'm including a quick summary of my thoughts as well and a link to my blog (if available) about the mentioned beer.

4 By 4 Brewing Company

  • Azteca - Chocolate milk; rich and good.

4 Hands Brewing Company

  • Incarnation IPA - easy drinking IPA.

Arcadia Ales

  • Cereal Killer Barleywine Ale - A little boozy, but not bad underneath. Blog Link
  • Loch Down Scotch Ale - Blech! (Hopefully it was a bad bottle?) Blog Link

Avery Brewing Co.

  • Barrel-Aged Vanilla Bean Stout (2020) - Poured thick and creamy and smelled wonderful. Love the vanilla flavor with a hint of the barrel.

Beard Engine Brewing

  • Ambrosia Fruited Sour Ale - I don't like sours, but this was great. Smooth and fruity.
  • The Clash - Very nice 
  • Dude: White Russian Milk Stout - Perfect. Good and rich with an amazing coffee and vanailla finish.
  • Just A Bit - Very enjoyable ESB.
  • War Balloon - Excellent porter

Boulevard Brewing Company

  • Early Riser Coffee Porter (2021) - SO GOOD!
  • Porter Stout - Very thick, but good.
  • Hibiscus Gose - Good beer with a nice wine mouth feel. Not bad for a sour.
  • Single Wide IPA - Great hops taste.
  • Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale - Outstanding! Fruity and Hopy at the same time. Blog Link
  • Wheat - Yum.

Brasseries Kronenbourg

  • Kronenbourg 1664 - Not too shabby. Little sour. Blog Link

Carlsberg

  • Carlsberg Beer - Bitter and watery, did not care for it. Blog Link

City Barrel Brewing Company

  • Rad AF - Very good and smooth IPA. Lovely.

Crown Valley Brewing

  • Black Cabin Smoke - Excellent smokey beer. Blog Link

Deschutes

  • Black Butte Porter - Deep and dark. Nice malt and caramel. Blog Link
  • Chainbreaker IPA - Sweet and hoppy. Very nice. Blog Link
  • Jubalale - Smooth and a little dry. Lovely flavor. 
  • Mirror Pond - Great and hoppy. Blog Link
  • Twilight Summer Ale - Fruity and refreshing. Blog Link

  • Banana Bread Beer - nice sweet banana.

  • Unraveled IPA - strong hops, yet smooth and light.

Free State Beer

  • Lucky Streak - a unique golden ale. Beautiful honey and almost wine quality.
  • Shadow Boxing - Very nice saison

Kona Brewing Company

  • Gold Cliff - Amazing IPA with great pineapple flavor.

  • Cappuccino Stout - More beer than coffee, but good dark stout. Blog Link

  • Imperial Breakfast Stout - THICK! full bodied and smooth, notes of oak and good coffee.

  • Pumpkin Beer - nice pumpkin spiciness.

  • Nut Brown - Bad water? Bad bottle? Don't know, but didn't like it. Blog Link

  • Hell On High - Different, but pleasant. Not too boozy for a quad. Nice.
  • Werewolf - Cloudy and boozy. Not my favorite.

Rogue Ales

  • Dirtoir Black Lager - Very dark and thick. Excellent. Blog Link

  • Blackberry Witbeer - Left an odd aftertaste from the blackberry. Blog Link
  • Cherry Wheat - Good balance of cherry without overdoing it.
  • Octoberfest - Not bad. Blog Link

Schlafly

  • Raspberry Hefeweizen - good balance
  • Yakima Wheat Ale - Great hoppy wheat flavor. Dry but sweet. Blog Link

Sierra Nevada

  • Hazy Little Thing - Quite hoppy, but still crisp and refreshing.
  • Hoptimum - Holy Hopfest Batman! This one is VERY hoppy, yet amazing. Blog Link
  • Pale Ale - A great refreshing beer. Blog Link

Southern Tier

  • Hop Sun - Very nice hops and light too. Blog Link

Stevens Point Brewery

  • 2012 Black Ale - Dry, dark and malty. Blog Link

  • Maple Nut Brown - Couldn't finish. No more Nut Browns for me! Blog Link

Tsingtao

  • Tsingtao - Decent beer. Mild hops, slightly bitter. Blog Link
